The Vietnam Country Office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has organized a conference (hybrid) with the title: Green and Inclusive Economic Rebound: Lessons from International Experience. The conference was attended by over 180 participants and guests. The keynote speaker was Nobel Prize winner in economics, Joseph E. Stiglitz, from Columbia University in New York. Achim Steiner, the Administrator of UNDP, also gave an introductory note (see Program_UNDP_Hanoi.pdf). Professor Waibel was invited to Session 3: Strengthening the Role of Government in Accelerating a Green and Inclusive Rebound (Session_3.pdf). He gave a speech (Speech_Hanoi.pdf) with a summary of the panel project and a brief synthesis of TVSEP’s research in Vietnam. His talk was well received by the participants and UNDP.
