At the 11th ASAE conference, March 18 – 20, 2023 in Tokyo, Japan three members of the former Institute of Development and Agricultural Economics presented a paper:

  1. Dr. Haoween Zhuang: Dynamics of Livelihood Strategies of Smallholder Rubber Farmers in Southwest China
  2. Dr. Chompunuch Nantajit: Re-thinking the role of rural villages in economic development:
    Evidence from Thailand
  3. Prof. Dr. Hermann Waibel: Can Remote Sensing replace Rice Yield Survey Data? A joint paper with Sabine Liebenehm, Eric Strobl, Nopporn Tantisirin and Niels Wendt. Prof. Waibel was also session chair of the session “Remote Sensing in Agriculture”.
