1) Prof. Waibel was member of an international university accreditation mission at Silwangi University, Indonesia, on behalf of the Agency for Qualtiy Assurance, e.V. (AQAS), Cologne, Germany. The mission took place from 6 - 11 October, 2024 (see Photo)
2) In November he has published a paper in Food Security together with MSc. C. Pan and Prof. S. Min, College of Economics, Huazhong Agricultural University, (HZAU), Wuhan, China, titled "How does agricultural transformation affect the household food self-sufficiency of smallholders in the upper Mekong region, Southwest China?".
