Since 1979 the 'Business and investment opinion poll and production planning for ornamentals in German horticulture (KIT)' is carried out by the Institute of Economics in Horticulture, University of Hannover. The biannual survey collects information on the business climate, on the production program and on investment behavior from floriculture holdings in Germany. The data are analysed and summarized in a written report by the institute and communicated to the participants free of charge.
